(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Dr. Lubna Abid Ali, Professor of International Relations at Quaid-e-Azam University said that US has realized that Iran cannot be pressurized, adding that all western efforts to isolate Iran have been failed miserably. The researcher viewed that positive changes are occurring in the world politics and the West has decided to accept Iran’s peaceful nuclear right. She said the Iranian President is a visionary leader and wants to develop strong relations with the world states except the Zionist regime. The educationist said that many leaders have met Iranian President at the UN which shows the strong position of Iran in the world. She said that Obama has told media that he had phoned President Rohani and agreed to work toward resolving their disputes. “This is a major development,” she noted. She said that at last US realized that Iran is a peaceful country and has never pursued aggressive plans. “Iran has repeatedly assured the world that they are not after nuclear weapons,” noted the scholar. She went on to say that relations between the West and Iran world guarantee peace in the Middle East region. The researcher said that steadfastness of Iran people and their ideology have compelled the western states to change their aggressive approach towards Iran. She added that sanctions have failed to deter the progress of Iran. On situation in Syria, she said peace can be resorted to the country by materialization of Iranian proposals.
